Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and MES Genesis Co Ltd ("Relay", "we", "us") for use of the Relay app. By creating an account or using Relay, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Relay does

Relay places phone calls on your behalf using an automated AI assistant, to carry out a task you specify (for example, making a booking or requesting a quote). You tell us who to call and what to ask; the assistant makes the call, discloses that it is an AI, and reports back what happened.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
  • You provide the phone number and task details, and confirm you have a legitimate reason to call that business or person.
  • You must not use Relay for anything unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or harmful, including spam, repeated unwanted calls, impersonation, fraud, or attempting to hide that the caller is an AI.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you ask us to do, and for any commitment you authorise the assistant to make (within your spending limit).

3. How calls work, and their limits

  • Calls are placed only within the destination's local daytime hours (09:00–20:00).
  • Each call can last up to 10 minutes. Relay may end the call when that limit is reached.
  • The assistant follows the guardrails you set, including your spending limit and whether it should confirm a price with you before agreeing.
  • Relay is an automated assistant and can make mistakes or misunderstand. You should verify anything important (such as a booking, price or appointment) directly with the business.

4. Credits, payments and refunds

  • Calls are paid for with credits, bought as one-off packs through the App Store. Credits are not a subscription and do not expire.
  • One credit covers one call, which can last up to 10 minutes.
  • What a credit buys is the work of making the call and coming back with a useful result. A credit is used when Relay completes the call and returns a result: the task done, an answer given, availability checked, a price obtained, or a choice for you to make. A negative answer is still a result. Relay does not promise that a business has availability, agrees a price, or cooperates at all.
  • If Relay cannot get through, or Relay cannot complete the call because of a problem on our side, the call credit is returned to your Relay balance. Unused calls never expire.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store terms. Relay shows purchased calls as added only after its backend confirms the updated balance. If confirmation is delayed, the purchase may take a few minutes to appear.
  • Requests for money refunds are handled by Apple. A return of a Relay call credit under the rule above is not a cash refund.
  • Prices for credit packs are shown in the app before you buy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Relay to:

  • make calls the recipient has asked not to receive, or to harass, threaten or defraud anyone;
  • place bulk, automated or nuisance calls;
  • impersonate another person, or instruct the assistant to conceal that it is an AI;
  • break any applicable law, including telemarketing, "do not call", and recording-consent rules in the place you are calling.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep Relay running but provide it "as is". We rely on third-party networks and services, and can't guarantee that every call will connect or succeed. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.

7. Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relay is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the outcome of any call (for example a missed booking or an incorrect price). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for credits in the 6 months before the claim.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Any unused credits are non-transferable and, except where the law requires otherwise, non-refundable as cash.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; if we make significant changes we'll update this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Relay means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Questions? Email support@callwithrelay.com.
